María Peña
Graduate in Economics and Business Studies, with a specialisation in International and Development Economics, from the Complutense University of Madrid and Commercial Technician and State Economist. Since July 2018, she has been CEO of ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, where she previously held the position of Director General of Institutional Cooperation and Coordination. She has developed her career in various positions in the Administration, mainly in the fields of economy and trade. She has been Director of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Spanish Embassies in Senegal, Morocco, Uruguay and Ivory Coast, as well as Alternate Executive Director of the African Development Bank.
