Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migration

José Luis Escrivá was the first President of the Independent Fiscal Responsibility Authority (AIReF) until his appointment as Minister in 2020. He began his career at Tthe Banco de España, where he held several positions in the Research Department, and subsequently continued in Europe, where he has been actively involved in the monetary integration process since 1993 as an adviser to the European Monetary Institute. Between 2004 and 2012 he worked at BBVA bank, first as Chief Economist and Director of the Research Department and later as Managing Director of the Public Finance Area.
