Jordi Hereu
Jordi Hereu Boher, born in Barcelona in 1965, was Mayor of Barcelona between 2006 and 2011 and has held the position of President of the satellite operator Hispasat since 2020. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and an MBA from ESADE.
He began his professional career in 1991 in Port 2000 and CILSA, linked to the promotion of the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) of the Port of Barcelona.
From 1999 he held various positions in the Barcelona City Council, serving as councilor of the district of Les Corts until 2004, and as councilor of Security and Mobility of the Barcelona City Council until 2006.
Hereu chaired the committee. He was also a founding signatory of the Barcelona Manifesto.
After his time in public administration, Hereu co-founded the company Fledge Barcelona and chairs IdenCity and Barcelona Plataforma Empresarial, which specialize in strategic consulting.
