Over 20 years experience in IBM Corporation (last post as General Manager for Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel and Turkey) and Chief Operating Officer for IBERDROLA´s International Division.
Currently serving as a board member and as a member of different committees of CAIXABANK (Spain), AIRBUS SE (The Netherlands), VODAFONE GROUP (UK) and A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S (Denmark). Former NED positions include SOLVAY (Belgium), MELIÁ HOTELS INTERNATIONAL (Spain), CORPORACIÓN FINANCIERA ALBA (Spain), ALSTOM (France) and FAURECIA (France).
Additional positions include member of the Advisory Board of SAP Ibérica, the Advisory Board of Spencer Stuart Spain, the Advisory Board of ISS Facility Services Spain, the International Advisory Board of Instituto de Empresa (Madrid) and the Advisory Board of GFT IT Consulting as well as a member of the Board of Trustees in various foundations and institutions including the Academia de las Ciencias Sociales y del Medio Ambiente de Andalucía (Seville), the Real Academia de las Ciencias Económicas y Financieras (Barcelona), MD Anderson Cancer Center (Madrid), and Confederación Española de Directivos y Ejecutivos (Barcelona).
Consistently ranked among the top 10 most valued CEO´s in Spain, has been granted multiple awards from media, women and business associations, including the Excellence Award by FEDEPE, the Javier Benjumea Award from the association of engineers of ICAI and the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame Award.
Lecturer in different MBA and Leadership Training courses.
