Management from the Universitat Jaume I in Castell\u00f3n and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Manuel Illueca has extensive experience in administration, where he directed the Valencian Institute of Finance from 2015 to 2023. He was also president of the Sociedad de Garant\u00eda Rec\u00edproca de la Comunidad Valenciana from 2016 to 2023 and, from September 2023, he held the position of general manager of Findango Finance.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Until his appointment, he held the position of Director General of Risks and Financial Control at the ICO, where he has participated in the design and implementation of the main loan lines of the Recovery Plan managed by the Official Credit Institute, as well as in the preparation of the institution&#8217;s multi-year budget for 2025-2028.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He also has extensive experience as a teacher and researcher, having worked from 2004 to 2015 as a lecturer in Financial Economics and Accounting at the Jaume I University, and as an associate researcher at the Valencian Institute of Economic Research.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He has published several research articles in leading international journals such as Journal of Future Markets, Review of Finance or Journal of Financial Intermediation, as well as in national publications such as Investigaciones Ec\u00f3nomicas, Spanish Economic Review or SERIES, and has been editor of the Spanish Journal of Accounting RC-SAR.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manuel Illueca President of ICO Doctor in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Jaume I in Castell\u00f3n and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia.\u00a0 Manuel Illueca has extensive experience in administration, where he directed the Valencian Institute of Finance from 2015 to 2023.
