University of Madrid.<\/p><p>Since July 2021 he has been director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government. Between 2018 and 2021 he was president and CEO of Paradores.<\/p><p>Appointed in 2015 as senator representing the Cortes de Castilla y Le\u00f3n, he remained in office until 2018. In the Lower House he was spokesman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and spokesman of the Socialist parliamentary group.<\/p><p>Between 2012 and 2014 he was head of the PSOE&#8217;s Secretariat of Organisation. He has also been Secretary General of the PSOE of Castilla y Le\u00f3n (2008); candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n (2010) and spokesman of the socialist group in the Cortes de Castilla y Le\u00f3n until 2015.<\/p><p>He was elected deputy for the PSOE in 2004 and was a member of Congress until 2011. He was spokesman for the RTVE Control Commission. In those years he was the rapporteur of laws such as the RTVE corporation, the transition to DTT or the General Audiovisual Law.<\/p><p>He has taught public communication techniques and debate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Navarra and at the Complutense University of Madrid.<\/p><p>He is the author of the book \u2018Del 15M al Proc\u00e9s\u2019 published by Planeta through its Ediciones Deusto imprint.
