He is responsible for the Swiss and Spanish markets as well as the SDX digital exchange. Bj\u00f8rn Sibbern has experience in managing large teams in the areas of trading, funds, post-trade, admissions to trading, IPOs, financial data, index business and technology.<\/p><p>Prior to joining SIX, he was Executive Vice President and President of European Markets at Nasdaq. In this role, he led Nasdaq&#8217;s markets and exchanges in the Nordic and Baltic regions. He was also responsible for the trading, listing, clearing, settlement and data business in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland and the Baltic nations.<\/p><p>Previously, Mr. Sibbern was Executive Vice President and responsible for Nasdaq&#8217;s global data, data and analytics and indices business, working from Nasdaq&#8217;s New York headquarters.
