He also holds a diploma in Business Management from EADA-Business School.<br \/>He began his professional career in environmental engineering, although he soon joined Interm\u00f3n Oxfam where he held various management positions, first coordinating the programmes in Latin America and later as Deputy to the General Director, from where he acted as coordinator of integration within Oxfam and was responsible for strategic planning. Later, he joined Caixa Catalunya to direct the Un Sol M\u00f3n Foundation, where he promoted microfinance, labour insertion and social housing programmes.<br \/>He was vice-president of the European Microfinance Network representing Caixa Catalunya. In 2010, he joined the &#8220;la Caixa&#8221; Foundation, combining strategic development support functions with the position of manager of the ISGlobal Global Health Institute.
