Josep Mª Recasens
Josep Mª Recasens, President of ANFAC, is an engineer from the University of Girona, holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), and an MBA from ESADE Business School. He began his career in 2002 when he joined the car manufacturer SEAT S.A., where he held positions such as Strategy Director, Corporate Secretary, and Director of Public Affairs. Recasens joined Renault Group in July 2021 as Director of Strategy and Business Development, reporting to Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault Group, where he contributed to the rollout of the company’s strategic plan, Renaulution. In January 2023, he was appointed President and CEO of Renault Group Iberia, and that same year he also took on the role of Chief Operating Officer of Ampere.
