41 LISTED COMPANIES CONFIRM THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE SPAIN INVESTORS DAY IN ITS 10TH EDITION ON THE 14TH AND 15TH OF JANUARY IN MADRID

  • The main goal of the Spain Investors Day (SID) is to make investors aware of the Spanish economy, so that our listed companies can present their plans for the future.
  • All sectors of business activity will be represented in this new edition of the SID.
  • Spain is a highly valued investment destination because it is one of the fastest growing countries, as the Stock Exchange will close this year with rises, and we work with many leading multinationals in their business segments.

The 10th edition of the international economic forum Spain Investors Day (SID) will bring together major Spanish listed companies and international investors in Madrid on the 14th and 15th of January 2020. A total of 41 major companies, mostly from the Ibex 35, will be attending this 10th edition. This figure shows the growing interest in attending the main international economic forum held in Spain at the beginning of the year, which is also attended by around 1,200 guests from the business and financial sector.

The companies that participate represent 71.4 percent of the Ibex 35 index, in addition to other large companies in the Continuous Market that are of great interest to investors. These 41 confirmed companies are the following: ACCIONA, ACERINOX, AENA, AMADEUS, ATRESMEDIA, BANKINTER, CAIXABANK, CATALANA OCCIDENTE, CECABANK, CIE AUTOMOTIVE, CORPORACIÓN ALBA, EBRO FOODS, ENAGAS, ENCE, ENDESA, EUSKALTEL, FERROVIAL, FLUIDRA, GESTAMP, GRUPO ACS, INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES GROUP, IBERDROLA, INDRA, INMOBILIARIA COLONIAL, MAPFRE, MASMOVIL GROUP, MEDIASET ESPAÑA, MERLIN PROPERTIES, PRISA, PROSEGUR, PROSEGUR CASH, RED ELECTRICA DE ESPANA, REPSOL, SACYR, SIEMENS GAMESA, TECNICAS REUNIDAS, TELEFONICA, UNICAJA BANCO, VIDRALA, VISCOFAN Y VOCENTO. The main objective of Spain Investors Day is for investors to be fully aware of the Spanish economic situation, and so that our listed companies can present their plans for the future to as many great funds and investment entities as possible. After ten uninterrupted editions, Spanish economy will have a new opportunity to calibrate the trust of great investors and founds on our country, in a unique scenario, matching the beginning of the annual financial year of our large companies.

Precisely, the SID acquires this year a special prominence due to the international economic situation, with Brexit ongoing, as well as for the political moment that Spain is going through. All along the course of this forum, founds have shown the immense possibilities that Spanish companies bring as attraction poles. Now, the centre of attention lies in the challenges that companies and investors must face in order to maintain their dynamics and to progress. For the SID’s Chairman, Benito Berceruelo, “Spain has a huge attraction for investors as it is one the most growing country among the big economies, as the Stock Exchange will close this year with rises, and our country has the support of many leading multinational companies in their sectors of activity”.
