Managing Director of Google Spain and Portugal

Cattaruzzi, who was born in Argentina, joined Google in 2008 and has since built a career marked by international scope and leadership in strategic markets. After leading operations in Latin America and in the Middle East and North Africa, he has, since September 2024, been responsible for overseeing Google’s interests in Spain and Portugal. In addition, he continues to serve as Global Client Partner, leading the technology company’s relationships with global giants such as Unilever, Nestlé, L’Oréal, LVMH, Volkswagen, and BMW, until a new global head is appointed.

His career within the multinational is as extensive as it is diverse. He served as Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa, based in Dubai, for five years; as the head of Google in Mexico for three years; and previously in Argentina, where he led the company for two years. He also held the position of Director of the Online Media Solutions Strategy team at Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California, and began his career at Google in Dublin, leading the Online Sales Organization for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Before joining Google, Cattaruzzi already had a long track record in the digital sector, holding various senior management positions at AOL Latin America, where he became President for the entire region and head of the Argentine subsidiary. He has also played a very active role in industry organizations: he is currently a member of the MMA Europe Board, and previously served as President of IAB Mexico and as a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in both Mexico and Argentina.
